Unbelievable, electrifying, and gifted are just some of the many words used to describe Gabriel Iglesias. The high-octane standup comedian from
Long Beach, CA. has been selling out comedy clubs from Los Angeles to Bangor, Maine and everywhere in between. Gabriel has an ability with
voice effects and impressions that is absolutely breath taking. Whether he's telling a story about hanging out with his friends, or telling the
audience about his dream of former President Bill Clinton, Iglesias blends his impeccable voice abilities with an uncanny knack for story telling that
keeps the crowds on the edge of their seats. It is quite impressive for a comedian, who is 30 years of age, to be a polished national headliner, who
is in high demand.
Gabriel's talent on stage has earned him several television appearances and prestigious honors. Fans have seen him on the Tonight Show with
Jay Leno, Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," HBO Comedy Minutes, NBC's "Showtime at the Apollo," and BET Comic View. Gabriel has also
been seen numerous times on the popular Galavision show "Que Locos." Gabriel's half-hour was awarded Comedy Central's Special of the Year
for 2003. Iglesias is the youngest comedian in the long history of Comedy Central to win the award. He also won favorite comic of the year for
Comedy Central for 2 years back to back.
Gabriel is also a budding actor. He has been seen on the ABC hit sitcom, "My Wife and Kids," He has made appearances on Showtime's original
series, "Resurrection Blvd." and VH1's "I Love the 80's." One year after starting to perform stand-up Gabriel was one of the stars on the popular
award winning Nickelodeon show, "All That." Iglesias was one of the most well liked actors on the show and won the Kids Choice Award for
favorite character on the show.
This is just the start for this humble, yet talented young performer. He is hard working and constantly busy on the next project. He donates much
of his time to performing for different charities, and has spent time in different cities speaking to high school students of the importance of staying in
school, avoiding gangs, and going after your dream.
Gabriel's one hour special "Hot and Fluffy" is currently being aired on Comedy Central, and the dvd "Hot and Fluffy" is on sale at all major stores.
Gabe is preparing his next one hour special for Comedy Central 2 Hot 2 Fluffy, to be shot in El Paso., Texas, and it will be released in the fall.
