August Comes to a Close at the Ballroom

This week started with the duo of Graham Russell & Russell Hitchcock, better known as Air Supply. If you haven’t seen their live show, you’re missing out. Both Hitchcock (77 years old) & Russell (76 years old) can still sing like they’re in their 30s! Air Supply’s Top 5 singles; Lost in Love, All Out of Love, Every Woman in the World, The One That You Love, and Here I Am, equaled the Beatles' run for overall sales and airplay stats.

The Dead / Seven Tour pulled into town on Thursday morning. Sevendust & Theory of a Deadman returned to the Ballroom with Return to Dust. The energy in the room for those two nights is hard to describe. You really had to be there to experience it LIVE. Sevendust played their first show at the Ballroom back in 1999. Since then, they have regularly stopped at Hampton Beach. Lajon Witherspoon, lead singer of Sevendust, talked about doing a residency at the Ballroom while on stage during the second night.

We closed the month out with country singer & songwriter Chris Janson & One Night of Queen. Janson sang all his hits, including Buy Me a Boat, Good Vibes, Fix a Drink, and Drunk Girl. One Night of Queen is a night of celebrating Freddie Mercury & the legendary music of Queen. Gary Mullens, the lead singer, does a fantastic job bringing Mercury’s character back to life.

While the 2026 summer may be coming to a close, it does not mean we're letting up at the Ballroom. September brings Cheap Trick, Dark Star Orchestra, Lee Brice, The Pretty Reckless, W.A.S.P., and Terry Fator.
